Sherlock is a very mysterious script, always on the lookout for the killer-design-project. It is a joining- or not-joining-script, whatever you want it to be. The pro-version sports 807 glyphs with language support for all European languages and some – like Vietnamese.
There are 7 different capital letters, some with different forms, some with swashes or underlining swings. And there are many alternate lowercase letters and ligatures as well as a set of old-style-numbers. Sherlock comes in two versions. The “Pro” is for the professionals that know how to use all those groovy Open-Type-Features and have the right software to do it.
The normal version comes in 10 single files so that everyone can use the many variations. Sherlock-Script 1-7 are the different variations of the script packed in single fonts. 1 is the normal version, 2 is the alternate capitals combined with small-caps and old-style cyphers. 3 through 7 are different versions of capitals with under-strokes and different kind of some lowercase letters with different swings.
Sherlock-Stuff 1-3 are the three different embellishments, 1=Dots, 2=Lines and 3=Fingerprints. Please look at the brochure that explains and shows all the details. When you buy the font, you have a choice which packet you want. The pro version has a bigger language support. If you make the wrong choice, I think all my vendors let you exchange the font for the other version. Enjoy!
