With its eight type styles and chockablock character set, Pumpkinseed ranks among the few truly casual handwritten typefaces with an industrial-strength, multi-purpose feel. Its name, by the way, comes from the distinctively oblong shapes of certain counters as well as the period, ellipsis, and other glyphs (in heavier styles)—though we’re happy also to honor the little sunfish by that name.
OpenType features include true small capitals, old-style and lining figures, numerous ligatures, and built-in support for Central/Eastern European languages.
