Brogue was designed to be a display typeface, but it can be used for a small body of text. At its core it is an uncial influenced typeface that has been allowed to stray from its roots. Embracing other alphabets, Brogue mixes in some unexpected letter forms, including a “bd” ligature, that really gives it a quirky and unusual look. Brogue is at it’s finest when mixing together the upper, lower, roman and italics.
