Cindie 2 is an update of the optical type Cindie Mono. It retains the mono-stacking system of the original, but some letters have been redrawn and it now includes a lowercase.
Cindie 2 contains 26 mono-spaced widths all of which are an increment wider/narrower than the next. This allows for complex multi mono-stacking of the font. In addition, punctuation, space and symbols are either a 1/3 or 2/3 width of a letter. This sounds complex, but it makes the wider widths more practical to use and gives a designer more options for the mono-stacking system at the heart of Cindie.
Cindie 2 also has a script typeface accompaniment. This typeface is not mono but is instead built on a system of Contextual Alternates [NB – Script really works best when you keep your .calt feature on!] and works more like handwriting.
Good for posters, branding and headlines, Cindie 2 has 26 stackable monospaced widths which will fit any job.
