The Typochondriac™ family is a variation on our Deviant Strain™ family.
ALTERNATE VOWEL CHARACTERS
All of the accented vowel characters in the Typochondriac™ fonts are slightly different from their unaccented root characters. To break up the visual monotony when you set text where duplicate vowel characters appear side by side, you can substitute additional vowels from the accented letters and then draw a white box in order to mask the unwanted accent in your page layout application. Another alternative is to convert the type to text in your illustration program and simply delete the accent marks.
MIXING AND MATCHING
While the bold versions of the font are slightly bolder, and have a texture which is quite different from the regular fonts, they are essentially a mere variation on the theme established by the regular (and original) version of the font. To create weight fluctuations and variety among the non-vowel characters of the fonts, you can easily mix and match characters from both the regular and bold version for an interesting and dramatic effect.
