German designer Claudia Kipp has stated that she sees design as a “necessity to improve and enrich the visual world,” and her modern and clean sans typeface Les Tres certainly does its share. Working with great efficiency and great impact, Les Tres is a Sans (Linear) / Geometric design, inspired by the efficiency and authority of the Bauhaus.
Les Tres contains three completely different weight options, from a more regular NO1 option, up to a heavy NO3 option, and one very interesting uppercase Q. Each weight contains over 300 glyphs in OpenType format. NO3 brings serious power and authority to headlines and 3-5 letter type settings.
