Bodoni Ferrara includes both of the so-called “Transitional” and “Modern” style serifs—meaning it can pair with many types of serifs or sans. It also has an “Informal” mode with a single story 'a' and other letter forms for a friendlier feel. The range allowed with Ferrara, in size, style, mood and situations, means that this is the classic, fashionable font for display.

With a total of 5 optical sizes, Ferrara can display beautifully at a multitude of sizes. Each optical size of Ferrara has thin to heavy weights, allowing Ferrara to be used like a sans—with contrasting styles.
Design Features
• Subtle forward angle makes Ferrara more lively and engaging than most Bodoni or Didot fonts.
• Round curves make this font feel letter-pressed—even in the hairline sizes.
• Bodoni's original tall x-height and slightly condensed proportions: great for headlines, where space is at a premium.
• Uppercase and lowercase punctuation.
• Oldstyle and lining figures, both modern style and transitional numbers. Every pair of numbers is kerned for display sizes: no unsightly gaps!
• Multiple special symbols for whenever you need a design to pop, including 3 different ampersands.
Language Features
Multiple language support. Features, punctuation and diacritics have been designed specifically for languages they are used in, including German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French.
