The shapes of Lawabo are simplified to a minimum and rounded at the edges. Its resemblance to bath ceramics gave it its name. Lawabo sports a low cap height and has smallcaps, therefore it is ‘a rounded sans with smallcaps and small caps’.
The low cap height makes distinguishing between uppercase I and lowercase l easy. This makes words like ‘Illusion’ or ‘Illustration’ more legible than in many other sans typefaces.
