Speed Bump gets its name in part from how quickly I designed it (a couple days) and in part from its conglomeration of arcs and corners that, in a weird way, reminded me of speed bumps on the road. Beyond its mere alphabets, though, Speed Bump is perhaps most useful for the 200-plus wacky picture glyphs. OpenType features include ligatures, fractions, Central/Eastern European alphabets—and 200-plus wacky discretionary “ligatures”.
