A yoke is the “old-world” slang for twin, or double, or duplex, since it turned two oxen from independent operators into a powerful two-ox team. And if you ever plowed a ten-acre bean field by hand, you know how important ox management can be. That teamwork of two-as-one is the basis for this layering font constructed from individual typographic components. With the right color applied, the stems and arms become rhythmic abstract patterns.
YWFT Yoke comes with three distinct font styles containing over 250 glyphs and OpenType features to give the user plenty of alternates for each letter. For best results, layer the extra styles over the regular weight and adjust colors as needed.
YWFT Yoke was originally published as a vector handset by YouWorkForThem in January of 2009. That original handset design (3 eps vector files) is included with this product for free.
YWFT Yoke was converted to working OpenType by our friends at PintassilgoPrints in 2014.
